On September 21, 2018 I directed the promo for the feature film Soundbite. It serves as both a promo for the feature film as well as material for the new online digital short form horror platform: Horror House Media, under Supreme Minds Entertainment..
Soundbite is a story that is written by myself and my writing partner Brantley J. Brown and it was the first piece filmed for Horror House. It was an amazing experience. Ray McCann assembled a great team of filmmakers, which included our director of photography Doug Freirich, Gaffer/Grip Calisto Thompson, and BlumHouse special effects guru Zack Edwards. Together we created a fun, low-key, laid back and effective ensemble. I could not have asked for a better team of people. We were very small but we moved fast and efficiently.
I also wanted to say thank you to our actress Taylor Murphy-Sinclair, who came to play the basic white bitch in a horror film who dies! And she was phenomenal at dying as well. She came to set ready to work and delivered 150 percent!
I am beyond grateful to everyone who was with us yesterday, including Zariah Suggs who allowed us the use of her apartment for the afternoon as it was clearly the PERFECT location for our film. Everyone made my job as a director so easy and I appreciate their enthusiasm and expertise – it really made our project that much better because of them.
I cannot wait to show you the final product. Don’t forget to follow Horror House Media on YouTube and Instagram and Twitter.
