I’m Not Perfect – BTS

Did an awesome photo shoot with my homegirl Candice Callins yesterday. This is our third photoshoot so far, starting with the one we did earlier this year when I first bought my camera. Candice was the FIRST person I photographed. I wanted to learn how to use my camera and she allowed me to do a photoshoot. I was so nervous - but was also excited. This was something new to me. And I think the photos turned out great. We did a fitness shoot....and even though I LOVE the photos, I look back on them now and see how much I have improved. Quarantining during the pandemic has kept us all mostly isolated. So to break the monotony I took photos. FILA Photo Shoot – BTS

Was lucky enough to do an awesome photo sponsored by FILA Tennis with models Troy Akin and Cale Hammond. BLM Photo Shoot

We are in the middle of the most important movement of our country - probably our lifetime. On this Independence Day, we need to ensure that all people are free from hate and oppression. Did a photo shoot for Black Lives Matter with model Candice Callins this weekend in Hollywood, California. I also attended my first Black Lives Matter protest yesterday in Tujunga, California. Black Lives Matter

On July 3, 2020 I attended by first protest for Black Lives Matter. I would not consider myself a photo journalist but my friend Candice Callins asked me to come and I wanted to be a part of something that was historical - as this issue is one of the biggest movements of 2020 - if not in my lifetime. There were some anti-protesters, naturally, who just drive by several times waving American flags and yelling derogatory slang at the crowd but overall it was amazing to see how the majority of people be supportive. It was amazing to see so many white and latino people among the crowd as well. El Cortez Hotel and Casino

At the beginning of the year [2020] I took up photography as a hobby - since I travel so much for work. In January I took a trip to Vegas and took some pictures while I was there. Well the El Cortez Hotel and Casino used one of my pictures for their Instagram page to promote this 3-day weekend [President's Weekend.] What a nice and lovely surprise!

Thank you to my nephew Chris Minnick who surprised me today with a drawing. He is self taught and has been practicing - so he thought he would draw a picture of me as he saw me - a Hollywood producer. I love this picture and I will keep it up on my website. It inspires me to keep working for what I love and for what I believe in. Thank you Chris - your uncle is proud of you!
