iHorror Reviews LOVE ME NOT

Thank you to Ryan T. Cusick for the amazing review of my film LOVE ME NOT.  Even though you watched it three months later – that is the true beauty about the medium of film – is never too late to enjoy a good story.

On behalf of the cast and crew, we thank you for enjoying our film and writing about it!

Review: Love Me Not by Fearscale

Fearscale is one of my favorite review sites because they find a subject, connect them to a heart monitor and have them watch a horror film. They take those results and find how scary a movie is. I think it’s fun and brilliant.

So far they have reviewed SOUNDBITE and STALK, the first two films I directed for Horror House. Both of those films were about five minutes….but LOVE ME NOT is 11 minutes and we were wondering if we create something that could sustain fear for twice as long. I have to say – I think we did a great job. Check out the results here:  Fearscale reviews LOVE ME NOT

Horror Talk with Kristin West – Candice Callins

Thanks to my manager, Matt Chassin, I had the pleasure of directing the third season of Horror Talk with Kristin West.  All the interviews were conducted at the FANtastic Horror Film Festival down in sunny San Diego. A big shout out to Landi Maduro for stepping in with lights, sound equipment, and cameras. Landi herself is an amazing photographer and director and it was a true pleasure to work with her!

The first episode of season 3 was with Candice Callins who just had the premiere of her short film The Carting Call.

Interview: (re) Search My Trash

I want to think Michael Haberfelner for taking the time to interview for his blog (re)Search My Trash for the film I directed LOVE ME NOT for Horror House. The questions were great! It was nice to be able to explain my process with you.

Reelometer Review – Stalk

So grateful that we are getting such great reviews in the new year for my newest film STALK, which was written by Brantley J. Brown and shot by Richard Trejo. Stars Kara Schaaf and my good friend Tyler Gallant.

I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to Reelometer for reviewing the film, and showing the heart rate of an individual who watched the film! I love these types of reviews because it helps you understand how the pacing of a film affects the viewer!

Reelometer is a side project on #physioreviews: ‘reviwing’ movies by observing one’s physiological response to them!

Nightmarish Conjurings Reviews Soundbite

I want to start off by saying that we have received so many amazing reviews, especially from my cousin Daryl, who is a horror vlogger – he did a fun video review of the film. You can check that out here:  MrMeatHook

But yesterday – November 15, 2018 – we received an amazing review of Soundbite from the horror website Nightmarish Conjurings, hosted by Shannon McGrew. The review was written by Juliann Stipidis and it is by far one of the best reviews we have received. It was very thorough and complete and I want to thank Juliann and Shannon and Nightmarish Conjurings for taking the time to watch and review our fun 4 minute horror short!

Hollywood HorrorFest

Excited to announce that my short horror script Del Obispo Road, a ghost story based on true events by Rochelle Robinson has been selected for the Hollywood HorrorFest here in Hollywood, CA.

The festival takes place July 26-29, 2018.

Never Forgive Me

Was asked by model and filmmaker Niko Antonyan to write a script based on an idea he had for a short film. From there ‘Never Forgive Me,’ was born. It was a fun film to write and I am grateful for the opportunity to write something for him to direct. It was also nice to see Rodiney Santiago and Emily Hall act out my words!

The film is now available on Amazon for rent! Please check it out.
