My friend Alex Henderson asked me to help him write a horror short sponsored by the Wyze camera app, that he wanted to direct! So we created a 6 minute short that is both creepy and fun! I am very proud of this film…and it is released just in time for Halloween!
Thank you to Ryan T. Cusick for the amazing review of my film LOVE ME NOT. Even though you watched it three months later – that is the true beauty about the medium of film – is never too late to enjoy a good story.
On behalf of the cast and crew, we thank you for enjoying our film and writing about it!
Fearscale is one of my favorite review sites because they find a subject, connect them to a heart monitor and have them watch a horror film. They take those results and find how scary a movie is. I think it’s fun and brilliant.
So far they have reviewed SOUNDBITE and STALK, the first two films I directed for Horror House. Both of those films were about five minutes….but LOVE ME NOT is 11 minutes and we were wondering if we create something that could sustain fear for twice as long. I have to say – I think we did a great job. Check out the results here: Fearscale reviews LOVE ME NOT
I want to think Michael Haberfelner for taking the time to interview for his blog (re)Search My Trash for the film I directed LOVE ME NOT for Horror House. The questions were great! It was nice to be able to explain my process with you.
So grateful that we are getting such great reviews in the new year for my newest film STALK, which was written by Brantley J. Brown and shot by Richard Trejo. Stars Kara Schaaf and my good friend Tyler Gallant.
I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to Reelometer for reviewing the film, and showing the heart rate of an individual who watched the film! I love these types of reviews because it helps you understand how the pacing of a film affects the viewer!
Reelometer is a side project on #physioreviews: ‘reviwing’ movies by observing one’s physiological response to them!
I want to start off by saying that we have received so many amazing reviews, especially from my cousin Daryl, who is a horror vlogger – he did a fun video review of the film. You can check that out here: MrMeatHook
But yesterday – November 15, 2018 – we received an amazing review of Soundbite from the horror website Nightmarish Conjurings, hosted by Shannon McGrew. The review was written by Juliann Stipidis and it is by far one of the best reviews we have received. It was very thorough and complete and I want to thank Juliann and Shannon and Nightmarish Conjurings for taking the time to watch and review our fun 4 minute horror short!
