BIO
Jacob Jensen is a model, actor, professor, and sport and performance psychologist. He earned his PhD in Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 2012. Based in Los Angeles, he is currently an Assistant Professor of Sport & Performance Psychology at California State University, Northridge.
Modeling and acting experience includes more than 12 years working in numerous national commercials and print ads for major clients across the United States and Europe. A member of SAG-AFTRA, acting performances include a number of short films and theater productions.
Jacob uses his passion for acting, sports, and practicing mindfulness to help others reach peak performance, manage stress and anxiety, and become more mindful. He is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), and a national and international speaker. His private consulting business offers private sessions and workshops, with numerous past workshops conducted across the United States, as well as in Switzerland and Germany.
A former Division I Collegiate Tennis Player at Utah State, Jensen played on the ITF Professional Tennis Tour after college, was a Collegiate Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at the University of Utah, and coached tennis at several prestigious clubs. He is also an accomplished pianist, speaks French fluently, and is active in outdoor activities and travel.
